The first TET took a month to hit a thousand pages. Back in ye olden days before the 500 page limit.

IIRC, it was initially at 1000 pages, but then we trimmed that by half to ease the pressure on the server hamsters.

I had to post on an old Sony PSP back when I was prolific on TET. I couldn't keep up at all, because the only way my browser displayed the quote button was to cancel loading it halfway through, and hope that enough of the page had loaded so I could scroll down and hit quote.

Indeed. I think when Nathi suspended TET's first incarnation after the first 100 threads, it was because it was so spammy and F7ish that it was worth moving it to F7.

Then about a week or two later, she restarted TET 'ere, and things have been going smoothly.
