But to a point the trans thread has to be that. It is a specific chat about the challenges in their lives. In a sense it was like..... her name escapes me for the moment, the nice kid from cslifornia's rape survivors thread. It is a safe space for them. ( and remember I am not a fan of safe spaces, but as a narrowly tailored specific thread I do see the benefits).

NSG is definitely not thinking. I remember someone suggesting it was ages ago* and as you can tell by not remembering who it was, they were clearly wrong.

I've been in death spiral forums, they look and feel very different. If you know Astrolinium, bring up the ROC/DAB with him, I'm sure he'll agree with me.

Agreed. Now granted, I don't have much interest in threads in NSG besides TET beyond catching up on world news I missed, but I don't see much of a lessening in the amount of regulars from what I do see, more that those regulars aren't spending a perhaps unhealthy amount of time on here anymore.

Well it depends on whether you're just parked in front of a computer for those eight hours, I suppose. I just browse on my phone when I've nothing else to do. Probably looks like I never log out. :p

Mostly it is during work hours in between things needing to be done. At home I tend to flit between other things online and NS.
