Bought a white board today for my room. Disappointed that I had to buy to the smaller one rather than the one that is three times as big - which I wanted. Though my friend assured me that, if I could wait three weeks, she could get me a white board around the bigger sized one for free.

Google "chalkboard paint". Pick out one wall in your place (or more than one), paint like crazy, write things in large letters. Problem solved. Oh yeah, buy erasers.
