I heard of St Albans, Vermont, because there was a Civil War battle there. A tiny one that only gets mentioned in history books because it was comically stupid and it ruined Confederate-Canadian relations, but still, a Civil War battle.
If we're still talking about England, I know nothing about your St Albans.
