The US is not running out of money. Nor is the economy teetering on the brink of disaster. For instance, for at least the last eight years, "smart people" over in the GOP have been warning about run-away inflation. Did it happen? Unless you think 2% is run-away, no, it didn't. None of the deficit scolds have been right. If the US had borrowed more back in 2009 and 2010 and put people to work with government money, the recovery would have been stronger and faster, but as it is, we're at lower unemployment than we had before 2008.

No it isn't: for instance, I can't demand you cite the definition of the word "the" (and every word that makes up that discussion, iterated until you go insane!) and then dismiss everything you say if you don't.
Betoni may well (and likely does) know nothing at all about British history. If that is so, he may not accept any of my claims. But if that is so, I simply don't care to discuss the matter with him, just as I don't care to discuss group theory with someone who has to ask what an integer is.

Actually, you could. And then I would give you the etymology of the article. However, that wouldn't justify the -- reductio ad absurdum. This is how debates here work. You provide proof of your argument, if you can't do that, well, you can reread the above statement by me. If this is going to be your continued behaviour, then don't expect many to take you seriously, much less listen. Boohoo.

This is rather amusing, to be honest, coming from you; someone who said there was nothing useful about going to college.
Tell me, how does it feel to be so smug about your intellectual superiority you gained from scholars who have gone to college and have researched this for you?

I don't know about comparative, but I highly recommend Filthy Cities - London for a lot of very interesting information about why London was so filthy, and what had to be done about it.
Hint: The fix didn't have all that much to do with the free market

If that's how debates here work, why is it no one sourced a single thing?
It's nothing special to here: it's how nerds try to back out of arguments they lost.

You're clueless. The theory of integers pre-dates even our civilisation, let alone universities.

The theory of integers required people who were learned in mathematics to explain integers, which requires academic institutions where they teach you how to think, which, you know, requires Universities as a matter of necessity.
The only one amused here is me, right now, with this particular discussion.

Don't worry, he is strong on foreign policy. So he'll allow Russia to have fair "referendums" in places with significant russian minorities like Eastern Ukraine.
Because he's strong on foreign policy, unlike Obama.

Because you're the one making claims, whereas being rebuffed. So scathing, it hurt my feelings. I'll just downgrade your argument to rambling opinion. When you're actually interested in some form of legitimate debate, do let us know! Have a nice day.

The first Western university was founded in 1155, while integers were known to the Ancient Greeks. You are wrong.
