Well... I guess that's true enough, though I think at least working off of the concept/creation itself is forbidden if it is money making or, at the least, it's implied as such; the idea itself can't be copyrighted, but all the details pertaining to the world certainly can be.

Patents are fairly straightforwards, in my opinion. Don't know about copyright, considering it's protections aren't as "absolute".

Though patents also heavily rely on your phrasing. One word can drastically change the scope of your protection, in a way. At least that's what I gathered from my course on intellectual property.
