They're coming to get you, Barbara.

I sympathise, though, my brain has been a right git for the night terrors and emotional trauma dreams since the kids. Maybe they'll stop when everything in the house is no longer just waiting to kill them.

I did have a funny one a few weeks back, though. Dreamt that a burglar broke in and killed the Italian, dumped the bloody mess in the clean laundry hamper and I spent the remainder of the dream berating the burglar for ruining the clothes.

Priorities.

Sounds fun; honestly wondering about if that isn't how my parents must've felt like raising my brother and I, in constant wonder about if something innocuous in the house was going to kill us... ^^'

On the subject of dreams, I had a weird one regarding something about the school building being infiltrated, I... think; really, I mostly found myself going in in the middle of the whole situation (Or maybe I was just a camera weaving through it all) and it was basically everyone killing everyone else...

In spite of the fact that, living in Singapore, this will probably never happen to me in my lifetime, not personally nor even within the country.

I think it might be the dramas my mum's binge watching that I wind up watching alongside her which basically contain maybe 90% killing. The one my mum's watching right now involves a man who'd basically stomped on everyone because rich man and who lusts after his adopted daughter, who he adopted because he killed her father.

Fun!

It's Hong Kong dramas. :P

Also, I'm exaggerating A LOT; it's just that compared to Singaporean dramas, there's more killing as a subplot, at least beyond like a strictly police-based drama.

Really, if I were being accurate, I'd say that local dramas are like 1% killing, whereas HK dramas are maybe 5% killing, so... ^^'

Night of the Living Dead is a classic. Also one of like, only two or three zombie movies I can stand.

Original zombieism. It's only the recently deceased that rise up, they're not gonna be all rotted.

Also low budgets. \o/

Spending the day watching a critically acclaimed movie while dipping into a stack of freshly shipped books is bliss. Of course it's a penny compared to the billions of shit that has been poured down by this year, but it's still a penny, and I'll treasure it real nice.

Woot!

The last movie I remember seeing that was noticeably low budget was Once, really loved that movie too.

Also on the topic of dream, Im going to have so much fun in a week. So, I found out that the last two psychs I saw werent even doctors but just assistants...

Now that I have an actual doctor, he says some of my issues are because of me being not properly medicated. So, since I have bipolar disorder, I was taking two lithium at night, and paxil in the morning. My mania seemed like it was gone, but I was and have been constantly depressed. Turns out that I was on direct release lithium which meant it was wearing off and making me rapidly cycle between meh and depressed everyday.

So now theyre going to throw me on Prozac and Lithium extended in the morning. Lithium direct in the evening and trazadone for sleep. And gabonpentin as needed for anxiety.

Ive a feeling my dreams and mood are going to be fucked for awhile.

My dream seems so petty in comparison to you two. :/. I don't think I've had a night terror in my entire life. What you two have dealt with must be genuinely hard, all I had in my dream was mysterious pools of blood on the walls, as far as I can barely remember.

Funny I should stumble in and find people talking about dreams... I usually don't remember my dreams, but I had a disturbing one last night.

I was riding in a car with a couple of people, and the guy who was driving started doing nasty little things to mess with me -- first just annoying stuff like sticking a kleenex in my pocket without asking, but then it escalated to stuff that was scary rather than just annoying, and he wouldn't stop the car to let me out when I said I wanted to get out.
Don't take life so serious... it isn't permanent... RIP Dyakovo and Ashmoria

I like my books as dry as possible. When I die I'll commend them to underground storage facilities under the care of the Philippine government, so that in the event of a cataclysm of some sort future Pinoys will know something of the literary works of past peoples. Nothing as possible will be lost.

Ive had one where I was married to this woman and a bunch of guys came in and murdered her in front of me. Ive had dreams of me jumping, or driving off a cliff. Or ones where Im in a warzone. I just think theyre stress dreams more than anything. Which is probably why I developed lucidity to them so that I knew they werent real.

Well... I just... I mean, good for you, but I feel a bit of mood whiplash now....

Also, I see then; I mostly raised La La Land as an example because I just watched it, so... heh. ^^'

And looking it up, I realised that you had used the Japanese title... which I didn't actually take much notice of; mostly remembered the English name.
