What your face looks like, what your body looks like, that's nice, but I knew some REALLY pretty girls, when I was in high school, and a good number of them were...NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. I know that sounds rather...idealistic, but it's always how I've seen things, and one of the reasons I've never been quite as interested in celebrities and how they look (though I've always had my crushes). If you're a kind, caring person, and you work hard to do great things in life, that's what makes you beautiful.

It's obviously hard to follow through with that because following certain archetypes and perceptions of ourselves is really the only way we get through the day, but those same ideas about yourself, and maybe about other people as well, are what fundamentally holds us back from really doing more and reaching to what we're fully capable of doing.

I don't feel fitting to give this advice, to be fair; I've felt in that sense of the gutter before, feeling like I'm the most useless person I knew, but objectively I'm not that and probably do significantly better than the rest of my peers, at least at the school that I'm in.

Point is that it's a universal feeling. We all get it from time to time and the only way to see yourself through it and to improve is to stop seeing yourself as fundamentally only ever being able to be that thing.

I've never been huge on boy-bands, 1D seems to me like a group of Biebers, Harry Styles is MASSIVELY overrated (as one of the less-talented ones in the group), I hated the hype train that compared them to THE BEATLES (UNBELIEVABLE), and generally their music is annoying. I'm viewed as starkly older than I actually am due to how I think about retirement and what not. It's a stark contrast to Big Jim or Chrinthinium how far I look into the future. The nature of my work, I've seen it in my grandpa who had a hip and knee replacement in his late 60s.
