The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

That doesn't make the smell that lingers down there simply go away. Unless NYC subways don't have that smell of metal, musk, and urine that Philly subways have.

It smells like an AC-DC concert down there?

Probably, if that's what an AC/DC concert smells like.

Like I'm it's punching bag. There was a technical glitch with the people I work so our customers payments scheduled for 1/19 came out today, 1/18, instead... so that's caused a steady stream of ticked off people. And before that Subway had a sign on it stating their credit card readers were broken, so I went to the ATM at 7/11 and got cash out... only to go back to Subway and their doors were locked because someone went to the restroom/outside for a smoke/down the street for a beer... who cares why.. thus no lunch today because I take the bus and didn't have the time between buses to wait for Subway to reopen.
