It's definitely not an answer -- thousands more will die, millions more will suffer, all from the mood swings of a righteous piss-ass. In fact, this goes against everything I've said and thought earlier about continued participation in public discourse.
But me, I'd rather take my life than suffer or worse under his incoming iron rule, whether or not he wears the velvet glove of the better good to work thereafter.
It's the easy way out but it solves nothing. You're just going to turn into a statistic. Death ends everything and you have virtually zero guarantee that anything will be better after death because we have no evidence to the contrary. Yes, everything sucks to an unexpected level but giving up or staying neutral helps nobody but the supposed oppressor. You grind, you fight, you fight, you resist. It's not folly. It's not pointless at hindi lang nakakatulong sa traffic ang pagprotesta. May punto lahat ng ginagawa natin at pag sumuko ka ngayon at naging cynical nananalo lang sila. He's declaring statements in support of instating martial law. He's going to try (or has already tried) to declare martial law kasi mas magiging madali ang buhay niya't sa wakas ma-co-consolidate niya ang kapangyarihan niya over the legislative (the only obstacle left, since he already has a majority over the judiciary). Wag ka sumuko, brad. Lumaban ka tangina kailangan natin lumaban pa. Sabi niya walang makakapigil sa kaniya mag-deklara ng martial law? Tangina niya. Ako. Ako lalaban sa kaniya. Hindi nag-EDSA magulang ko para sa katarantaduhan niya.
