I am seriously concerned about the future of the country if this shit happens more in the next two years. It might even extend considering that the Dutertes can easily establish a political dynasty with the power they acquired.

I strongly oppose this terror bill for many reasons, and in addition to my opposition to the terror bill, I have a lot of disdain for this current adminstration as well. I wish they did better, but they did not, and seeing how they are playing with fire, pressuring their own citizens, while also still playing nice with the PRC, I am of the opinion that this regime must be replaced.

But the son of former Indonesian dictator Suharto, Tommy Suharto, is laughably corrupt and just plain evil (his known horrific actions listed in Wikipedia are so numerous and ridiculous it makes you laugh real hard). If people like Tommy becomes my president, I'll probably join a violent insurrectionist group without delay.

And from what my Filipino friend told me, the Terror Bill seemed terrible. So it looks like Phillipines os facing the prospect of Terror Bill + President Bongbong Marcos, to which I say "lmao good luck".

You're a bit out of date.

Bongbong Marcos *was* the anointed of Rodrigo Duterte and desired Vice President. However, his electoral protest against the actual Vice President, Leni Robredo, has ultimately backfired, and actually gave *her* more votes. Further, the scuttlebutt is that the relationship between Rodrigo and Bongbong has reportedly soured, as evidenced by Rodrigo quietly not supporting him in his protest anymore.

The race to succeed Duterte in 2022 is developing between Christopher "Bong" Go, Duterte's constant companion in all public appearances and IMO the real mastermind behind a lot of the things he does, "Inday" Sara Duterte-Carpio, Duterte's most ambitious daughter and current mayor of Davao, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, the famous boxer. If there is any Marcos who will try to take either Vice President or President, its Bongbong's sister Imee, who is far more intelligent and far more devious.

It should be noted that all of these persons I have mentioned have overt, easily researched, ties to PRC and CPC businesses and agents, as well as Emperor knows how many covert and illicit connections.

It amazes me how some people are able to rationalize being DDS. My ex's father was a drug addict and would have been killed under Duts, and Roddy once said God was stupid, and yet this religious girl with a drug addicted daddy still supports Rodrigo Dutuerte, one of the worst disasters the Philippines has faced since the Japanese invasion.

I think the major concern as to why many aren’t protesting is COVID. The cases here are on the rise as well.

As much as I’d like a fourth people power, now isn’t the best time for instability in the government. Damned politicians were so quick to jump ship after Duterte’s election. I’m guessing some of them are regretting their decisions now.
