1) He doesn't even take note of the fact that homosexuals are generally better in style than heterosexuals. Have you seen the way they cut hair? Lol. If you want practicality, choose homosexuality..
2) Showcase your Bisayan culture, bruh.

No I was just bringing up the Miss Universe topic, not commenting on ASEAN. I'm surprising he isn't willing to showcase Bisayan culture which has been shunned off by the imperialist Tagalogs the people of Luzon.

Afaik, there aren't any big events involving them yet beyond the 2017 Summit. So maybe we'll have to continue to wait.

Anyways, here's a question for everybody: will you cross the Philippines off of your destination itineraries just because Duterte's sitting in office? Feel free to answer in your own way (though not in the inciting kind of way).

No, because i don't even have the money to go abroad, hadn't visited many places in my own country and i don't really know Philippines tourist magnets.

Now, since everyone is going everywhere with different topic without a consistent direction, let's start with Political Dynasties.

What are your views towards the existing political clans in DuterteLand?

Depends on which dynasty we're gonna focus on. Let's go over the main ones, shall we?

Marcoses? Eh, they're pretty much disgraced for eternity due to FM. Aquinos? Proved rather incompetent in solving the shit Marcos left, though admittedly PNoy is more competent than his own mother. Macapagals? I'll say this: Diosdado's a saint, Gloria's a sneaky little smart-ass. Estradas and Ejercitos? Can surprisingly balance out acting and politicking, doesn't make them good though knowing how Erap, JV, and the others are controversial.

The Marcos dynasty is indeed disgraced forever after the actions of FEM. What's worse, his descendants are the equivalent of Holocaust deniers in Germany-- Non-yellow sources have already shown that FEM has indeed done corrupt acts during Martial Law, usually through his Rolex 12.

The Aquinos are pretty much a lesser evil, but they can also be proof that history is written by the victors. No one talks about the Hacienda Luisita massacres, clearly because most of the populace is already bathed in the propaganda that all Aquinos are heroes. Maybe Ninoy was indeed a hero, but where was Cory when EDSA 1 occurred? Noynoy has some decent economic savvy, but revering him because he is the son of Ninoy is like criticising Sandro Marcos just because of his grandfather.

(Infocom voice)But wait, theeeeere's moooore!

The country is literally littered with political dynasties. It's going to be a long and difficult process if there ever is an attempt to try and control and/or dismantle the "family businesses."

Take, for example, the Senate, which has a little over half of those serving (or probably more) who are part of political dynasties. And even then, how would we even go about with an Anti-Political Dynasty Law?

Hmmm, I'm all for keeping things a little bit more dynamic, but many politicians would probably be against the idea simply because they're already part of a dynasty, are confused over what defines a "political dynasty", or just fearful it'll not solve the corruption problem. Plus, there's the fact that their key supporters see political dynasties as a sign of stability of things staying the way they are, and the politicians know if they don't please those key supporters a rival can sweep in and all (which can actually happen quickly in this country if the family is not careful).

1) Exist as a Filipino citizen outside of any blood from a political family. Attain a good education, and after that start off a business when you are an adult.
2) Profit hugely, and show to the general Filipino populace that you have a philantropic attitude. Marry some cute TV star.
3) For some reason, pursue politics. Ask your family not to talk about political discussion much, so that a possibility of a political dynasty would be 0%.
4) Work with the system, run for President, and with endorsements from your chosen allies, you win the election. Set up a Constitution that "aims for the general advancement of Filipinos as one society", as stated in your first SONA. This Constitution allows you to give out Executive Laws without the consent of the Senate, though, but its buried so deep in fine print that the apolitic Filipino populace didn't notice it.
5) Set up an anti-corruption sentiment, and after some time when the Filipino people are literally CRYING for you to abolish political dynasties, start your endgame by ordering the arrest of all figures of political dynasties. Gentlemen, this is what we call a populist dictatorship.

well of course i was kidding.. Who would think that far?
