Hey there I am oppossed to Duterte, I'm a member of the Catholic Church and we have been helping drug addicts being killed by Duterte. He hates the church he even said that Bishops should be killed.

His grandmother was a pure bred Moro (Muslim from Mindanao) she didn't even convert to Christianity, she died Muslim, and his grandfather was a pure Chinese although Duterte himself was born in Cebu and migrated to Mindanao.

He is only Visayan by location of birthplace.

His Moro Grandmother participated in Rido/a (The local Malay Muslim version of the North African Muslim Razzia).

His ruthless Chinese-Moro ancestry keeps showing. Also, he was only born in the Visayas, most of his political career was in Davao, Mindanao.

The Visayas was a power base for the Christian Spanish against Muslim Mindanao and Manila because most of us Visayans were Hindu or Animist and mortal enemies of the Muslims in the northern and southern part of the Philippines and the Visayans saw the Spanish as allies since they were fresh in the Reconquista, a war to Rechristianize Spain from the Ummayad Caliphate.

Well, the killings haven't stopped, certainly. Users and low-level pushers are still being pursued over drug lords and kingpins, after all, they're the "dregs of society". Our last national police chief resigned three weeks ahead of retirement over his involvement with illegal drugs a few weeks back. Duterte's now challenging the VP to solve the drug problem in six months, something he couldn't do in three years. And public support for the drug war remains as strong as ever.

So yeah, the drug war is chugging along just fine. Business as usual, really.

I believe he has a stronghold of the military with retired military officials in his cabinet and also solidified his local base in the recent elections. There's also a large social media "army" propagating fake news and propaganda.

The military isn't a hive-mind, despite best efforts of people inside it. This can be seen by the fact that Secretary of National Defense Lorenzana has yet to embrace fully the kow-tow PRC Xi-dick-sucking gravy train.

Most of the other former generals' (save some very glaring traitorous examples, like the current NSA) greatest sin is they are ill-suited for some of the departments they're headed to, and are at most there for the comfy retirement and money. They will likely just parrot lines for show and do nothing.

The more dangerous cabinet members are the non-military people who went in with Duterte from the start, like the Finance and Budget Secretaries, who are outright corrupt, neoliberal, and, if not-pro-China, certainly pro-Big Business and pro-money. And of course the
