For someone who wants to hoard all the taxpayer pesos, these suspects are doing terrible at retaining their ill-gotten wealth. Why blow off some cash to fund a bunch of ragtag bandits in the middle of nowhere to attack some unsuspecting city anyway? They could just get another Lamborghini.

Because Manila is presumably where the main market for drugs is, not the more remote regions. Replacing home produced meth with imports is not a success either.

Funnily enough, the Chinese are very stingy about helping. At most they've given some small arms.... as if we have an arms shortage or something. Then again our "best friends" don't want to give us meaningful stuff like bombers, tanks or smart weapons.... though considering their quality I'm in no particular hurry to get Chinese shit.
