Alright, so Joma Sison just posted a new article again on his website about Duterte and being gay and that crap geriatric CPP-NPA-NDPF stalwarts that should basically leave the armed revolution to kids who know how to shoot a gun, organize in the 21st century and win a revolution do when they're abroad.

https://josemariasison.org/duterte-expo ... NLfj1Zx2tA

Interestingly enough, a guy commented on how this is a bad example of weaponizing someone's sexual orientation against them. And their comment got deleted. By Joma Sison himself.

Idk, skl, I guess

One week to go until the midterm elections. I'd like to ask who you guys will be voting for in the senate (if you're voting) + partylist.

I'm personally going to be voting for the 5 Labor Win Coalition candidates: 11 Ernesto Arellano, 22 Neri Colmenares, 23 Ka Leody Guzman, 47 Sonny Matula, and 49 Allan Montaño. Fighting for better conditions for the workers of the Philippines is always something worth fighting for.

Plus, while I may not 100% agree with many of the things the following candidates say and believe in, I do believe that we desperately need an active and powerful opposition in the senate, which is why I'm going to be voting for the 7 candidates who have the best chances of getting into the senate and providing a proper check in the power of the current government, and they are (in order of their number on the ballot): 9 Bam Aquino, 25 Chel Diokno, 36 Samira Gutoc, 37 Florin Hilbay, 52 Serge Osmeña, 57 Mar Roxas, and 59 Erin Tañada.

For the party-list, I'm still not totally sure, but I'm leaning towards either 1 Bayan Muna or 126 Partido Lakas ng Masa.

That's their main platform? Strengthening coops? Okay, sounds alright. Probably still won't vote for them, though.

Not voting, though not by my choice -- I lost my IDs just this weekend -- but if I could I'd vote for any non-party list candidate who pledges to scrap the corrupted and corrosive sinecure that is the party list system.

Oh, Otso Diretso too.

Plenty of reports are unconfirmed as of now, although there are a startlingly large number of reports of ballots voting for the wrong candidates, or adding another candidate when somebody undervotes. The "extra" votes that pop up never seem to be for opposition bets, however.

Speaking of votes, it seems Jojo Binay got the sort of second try at least thousands couldn't gef after flubbing it once. Can't wait for COMELEC, the lucky fucker.

This reminds me somewhat of the Hello Garci scandal, but the machines are doing it themselves and under no control by someone else.

Why assume remote control if you can turn on the con way before the election? A few snippets of code will do it.

Well, I stand mostly the same. I would vote for most Otso Diretso candidates except Roxas and pretty much any appealing candidate from the independents and maybe even the supermajority, though that’s unlikely.

Here are my votes for Senators. (And yes, I did vote straight Otso Diretso to spite the current admin)

5 ALEJANO, GARY
7 ALUNAN, RAFFY
9 AQUINO, BENIGNO BAM
22 COLMENARES, NERI
23 DE GUZMAN, KA LEODY
25 DIOKNO, CHEL
36 GUTOC, SAMIRA
37 HILBAY, PILO
41 MACALINTAL, MACAROMY
52 OSMEÑA, SERGE
57 ROXAS, MAR
59 TAÑADA, LORENZO ERIN TAPAT

Can't remember exactly the partylist I voted for, but I think it was Liberal Party.

My IRL politics are simple: anti-Chinese Communist Party. If a view is anti-CCP, no matter how bad it is, that's my view.

Dude, the very concept of letting the "underrepresented" get elected is a fucking flawed one, not least because that criterion is subjective as ass, and now individual candidates and major parties are gaming the system to their advantage. At least the SKs are a bloody sinecure that looks good on a resume but really means jack.

So, the first unofficial results are in: https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/eleksyo ... y4irFU61Ek

What do you guys think? Me, I'm absolutely disgusted with the results. You'd think the people would know better, but apparently not.
