BongBongLand (Philippine) Discussion Thread

Postby Emperio Maharlika » Tue Dec 27, 2016 5:33 am

Well, title says it all. Plus the original Philippines discussion thread is getting old..

So just talk about literally ANYTHING: Duterte's putanginapolitik, politicians in general, the Filipino way of life, whether your crush texted back on Facebook (yup, most Filipinos still use FB.. Shuddup Whatsapp supremacists), the amount of lechon you ate this Christmas, etc. As long as its Filipino-related.

Enjoy!

This is true according to 80% of our Facebook users.
60% are usually Dutertards Diehard Duterte Supporters, and 45% of them believe that the late strongman, Ferdinand Marcos, should be buried in the Heroes Burial.

In case you didn't know these are fake stats

I can understand anti-crime initiative--I just prefer an actually working, far-reaching one, and the one not involving killing bystanders. His foreign policy should also be called into question too.

Indeed. The Philippines should never lean too much towards a superpower, let alone the Chinese, who clearly want dominion over the South China Sea. And take note, Xi Jinping is a Machiavellian businessman.

What business he would do regarding Abu Sayyaf and its ilk and others? Us down here are tired with the pinoys trouble. As if kidnappings aren't enough, 4 navy crewman gone missin while escorting a ship.

I'm the sort of bitch who wants to bitch on about how Our Dour Leader's not exactly strengthening our institutions by his bloody anachronistic posturing on drugs and the Americans (though now I'd like him to keep it up if it means getting the fuck away as far away as possible from our Chakravartin who fart in heaven) and meek submission to the Chinese government (while cajoling and threatening his fellow ASSCHIN leaders [OK, so he hasn't threatened any other leader yet, but it is in his character]).

And isn't he anti-corruption?
Then why the heck does the Marcos family still retain their power? I do wish to revere the Aquinos as heroes, but a corrupt politician is a corrupt politician. And Ramos must be burned at the sake for his involvements in Martial Law, along with the Marcos's other cronies.

The Chinese military is building bases in our EEZ near Palawan, might build one at Scarborough, and might turn Duterte and the rest of the ASEAN into submissive patsies, if that hasn't already happened.

Hence, ASSCHIN -- the Assocation of China.

His tributary offering to the Middle Kingdom while the latter is practicing its arrogant posturing around the South China Sea might be one.

Duterte must understand that the political game, in reality, has some snakes, and one must ensure that he or she must stay away from said snakes as much as possible.

Lest he wants to join the unique Chinese dog breed of Foothangina (福堂易拿).

Afaik, there aren't any big events involving them yet beyond the 2017 Summit. So maybe we'll have to continue to wait.

Anyways, here's a question for everybody: will you cross the Philippines off of your destination itineraries just because Duterte's sitting in office? Feel free to answer in your own way (though not in the inciting kind of way).

Or maybe the fact that he just rejected some homosexual Davaoenos from designing dresses for Miss Universe.
1) He doesn't even take note of the fact that homosexuals are generally better in style than heterosexuals. Have you seen the way they cut hair? Lol. If you want practicality, choose homosexuality..
