Thanks to my son, I have "The Seed of Chucky" on in the background and it got me thinking. If you could choose your gender, which one would you pick and why?

I am thinking I would choose to be a man. I am tired of all my female "problems" and I really wish I could pee standing up. I'll include a hermaphrodite option in the poll just to keep it open.

I get to (likely) be stronger, taller and I die early. Although there are times I'm envious of girls, they seem to have cooler choices of wardrobe, and I feel like its easier to find a partner as a girl, but I think that may just be my imagination.

Females shave armpits, legs and other areas. I think guys have it easy when it comes to shaving, although I imagine you have to shave more frequently to maintain that clean look if you so choose.

I'm pretty much happy with what I am. This isn't an "I enjoy being a girl" screed - it's been a long time since I've been a girl.

The problem has never been gender, it's been other people's expectations of gender. I can do pretty much anything a male can do and those things that men can do that I can't do (like peeing their names in the snow) are not really important.

I have been waxed. A couple of legs for charity and a lost bet with a girlfriend. It's not as bad as I was lead to believe.

Okay, but have you ever had to go really bad in a public-ish place and had to squat to pee. I have by no means perfected it, and its really hard not to get pee on my shoes.

I couldn't see myself doing it permanently, but the idea is amusing to a degree.
I'm too male in psychology to really be comfortable any other way.
