Is it perfectly acceptable to trade two black slaves for a slave of another race? Is that behaviour befitting the example to all mankind?

If referring to the hadith, it's not my slander, it's Al-Bukhari.

You're slandering Prophet Muhammad (SAWS), just like just about every anti-Islam/Islamophobe up here.
Like I said before, Allahu 'Alim. It's probs better to ask an imam about this.

that's legit an authentic Sahih Muslim Hadith, though. here
Are you saying Sahih Muslim, and Jabir, of all people, were slandering Muhammad? or are we taking this out of context?

If quoting your own holy books is 'slander' than what does that say about your holy books?
And what does that say about your sense of honesty?

technically Hadith books are not quite holy books. I mean, many muslims don't even follow them. Islam has only One Holy Book, and that's Quran (not that that book doesn't have any can of worms waiting to be opened, just saying)

“Th-This is slander, I-I don’t know how to debate my faith, g-go ask an imam and leave me alone!”

Do you know how many people ask me, as a Catholic, “Do Catholics worship Mary?” It’s why I’ve had to do years of reading on Marian devotions, asking questions, and paying attention to what my Church teaches, in order to understand our devotions to the Blessed Mother. So I can properly defend them.

Is it slanderous when someone says, “Catholics worship Mary!” No, merely misinformed. And if you care about your faith and how it is understood, you will answer the questions instead of diving back and waiting for someone to catch you when you slip over your own two feet.

This is the only Islamic explanation I have found for it, if you/y'all want more, go to an imam or another Islamic scholar about this.

how about you show some backbone, or at the very least study your religion enough that you can, with a little search, be able to answer an inquiry without a cop-out like this?

Don't look at a singular hadith and make up your own mind, many hadith are used in a multitude of rulings have a large, large amount of context behind them - centuries' worth even, they back up Quranic verses, are superseded by other ahadith and may even be used as a basis for Islamic research.

It is neither appropriate nor proper to look at ahadith without the proper tafsir or without an Alim/Scholar.

Edit: Most of this knowledge isn't found on the internet either, the ahadith are more than the pixels on your screen (or in most cases, more than the ones from wikiIslam).

Alright, I miss-sited the author, but muslim is hardly unreliable.

But I've engaged this with you with the height of moderation, and you find yourself unable to resort to other than the most embarrassing of tactics. Feigning ignorance, ignoring the point, attacking the person rather than the argument. You keep talking about misunderstanding like it's a currency, when you seem unable to bring much to the table yourself. Now I don't envy the task of defending Muhammad, as it becomes impossible in the great run at least from a moral perspective, but that you skirt around the issue of racial slave trading kind of means you capitulate on the topic as a whole.

The topic of seeing a white prophet selling back slaves at a fucking discount as being the perfect example for all mankind.
