So are the Russians, most of them will deny the war against Finland was one of aggression, or that Red Army troops raped millions of women in Eastern Europe despite the soldiers themselves boasting. A very large number of British people miss the days of the British Empire and are ignorant of all the colonial atrocities committed by them, so are the French about their imperialism in places such as Algeria. Even sides who lost, such as the Japanese and Italians, are ignorant of the crimes that their militaries committed in other countries.

My point isn't "These people do it, so it's okay for us to do it too." but that this could be thrown at just about any major world nation. You don't actually have a reason to support the US being pure evil, worse than every other state on the planet, the fact you're having to scrounge for other crimes essentially proves it.

I'm well aware of the atrocities of Russia and several other nations (hint hint, that's why I really loathe Russia as well). But who says I'm scrounging? The information is pretty easy to find, I've already discovered several new atrocities I hadn't previously been aware of. The hard part is presentation, it's alot of sources and making sure I'm not presenting the same instance more than once.
