Shi'a have deviant beliefs from Al-Islam. At best, they are trangressive, at worst, false Muslims.

I have very little understanding of the Shi'a faith, but I know as a Catholic that I shouldn't look at my Baptist brothers and sisters and shout, "DEVIANTS!!!" We have our misunderstandings and our differences, but we worship the same God. And in that way, we can still worship the same God together. You might think they are "deviant", but even then that is no excuse to call for their deaths.

I would agree to an extent for Ja'faris and Ismailis, but Shiites are not a monolith; much less so than Sunnis. I would say there are many deviants among those labeling themselves 'Shiites'- more than those among Sunnis even, but they are not inherently deviant.

No sect claims to be a 'sect'- each believe themselves to be the direct line from what the Prophet taught. Sectarianism for the sake of sectarianism is deviant, but if one agrees with one group or another because they think that is what is right, then I see no blame to be cast.

The sole purpose of the 'Mod' system is to SYSTEMATICALLY and NEUTRALLY shut down all speech made in this forum that can be perceived by any reasonable person as hateful and spreading the idea of hate. If you check the history of the mods here, they work hard to shut down anti-Islamic speech when spotted, so even your statement is incorrect.

I've regularly contributed to these threads for years- we see regular attacks by anti-Muslims who go unpunished. I understand this is a sensitive topic for any moderator to have to deal with, but people are getting away with both supporting terrorism and slandering Islam.

I've regularly contributed to these threads for years- we see regular attacks by anti-Muslims who go unpunished. I understand this is a sensitive topic for any moderator to have to deal with, but people are getting away with both supporting terrorism and slandering Islam.

Perhaps they go unreported or under appealed. You have to remember there's an appeals process on this site, subject to Victorian Common Law in terms of legal analysis.

Shi'a has a lot of different with Sunni that I think they are already sort of...more than just deviant.

On the other hand, Ibadi seems to be fine.
