I disagree but I'll skip to my point, do you think it's reasonable to automatically believe something until it is disprove, or to disbelieve something until it is proven?

Why the jesus couldn't be 'just' the prophet or demi-god? ancient christianity was understandable enough![]()
At least muslims don't claim to see miracles, angels and light of god on literally every major occasion...and their prophet didn't changed sand to gold or was shot by 50 arrows and laughed or any stuff like that.
Angels make a number of noteworthy appearances in the Koran (or at least in major events in the history of early Islam), if I recall correctly.
"Those who reached my boundary, their seed is not; their hearts and their souls are finished forever and ever. As for those who had assembled before them on the sea, the full flame was their front before the harbour mouths, and a wall of metal upon the shore surrounded them. They were dragged, overturned, and laid low upon the beach; slain and made heaps from stern to bow of their galleys, while all their things were cast upon the water." - Ramesses III., Battle of the Delta

But Christians more than slightly often claim to actually see them or hear them. Like, really see and hear them. And claiming actual miracles. Real miracles happening. All the time.
Something not much heard in muslim areas.

Would Muhammad appearing on a piece of toast be blasphemy? Is a joke.

Probably why he banned portraits, because he totally imagined himself on worshipped golden icons with beard like Zeus or Wotan.
Unfortunately, muslims tends to overreact and be oversensitive when you try to explain such context, that overreaction is unnecessary.

Not talking just about knives, shoes or grenades, as you can imagine is totally 'overreaction'.
You can't spit on a person or destroy his window or do anything similar, just because he made a joke about your religion.
That's all overreaction too. And list can be longer.
I am not saying you are unable to withstand such thing, but way too many of your comrades don't.

No no I'm saying that you're "Hurr durr Muslims get too butthurt" schtick is throwing stones in glass houses. Acting as if there aren't Christians that get excessively offended over things that, compared to intentionally drawing the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) solely for the sake of being offensive, are supremely minor shows an obscene lack of introspection.

Well, my people made jokes about literally anything, even death, God, your mom and racist jokes are popular just as well.
So, the jokes for me are always 'intentionally, solely, for the sake of being offensive' jokes. Non-offensive jokes, frankly, doesn't exist, as you are always making fun of something or someone. Logically.
And as Muhammad is not mine Prophet, nor I absolutely don't care about him, I can make any joke I want about him, primitive or sarcastic one.
If you ignored it, no protests, no destroyed windows or burned flags, other people wouldn't provoke you further trust me, as it would be boring.

Because Christians have never gotten offended over literally nothing.
Seriously. Maybe if people didn't feel the need to go out of their way to be offensive little twats we wouldn't have a problem. I'm not even condoning the violence - I find it despicable, honestly. But going out of your way to do something offensive just because "hurr durr it means nothing to me" doesn't make you funny, clever, or "edgy" - it makes you an asshole. Maybe have some respect for other people? Or is basic human decency too much to ask?

It doesn't matter if you consider it funny or not - it's my right to make jokes. 'Feeling insulted' is not Human Right. Free speech, however, including jokes, is.
Don't take yourselves so much seriously, people.

One my compatriot was beaten to death when he laughed loudly to some Muslim in London. Don't know details, but nothing anyone can say to you, literally anything verbal - justifies violence - and certainly not murder.
Appeasement seems making some people only bolder, as they know they are untouchable and they don't fear humane laws.

Smh.
"Free Speech" has bounds. Being disrespectful is stepping over that bound, and is against site rules btw. See how much "muh free speech" gets you then.
