The main focus of my post regarding Sharia was focused on PRE-COLONIAL ISLAM, and how the interpretation of Sharia Law changed due to colonialism.
There indeed is some sexism within the religion today, but the church as well as other traditional religions still have sexism as well, the difference is that Islam pioneered quite a bit of women's rights.

Some sexism is a bit of an understatement, and you still need a source for those Islamic Regions that passed anti-sexism laws.

Why aren't you using sources and why are you telling lies against the Prophet (SAWS)?

I don't know about "young boys", but don't forget his youngest wife, Aisha.

Done. A person with an open mind must accept the facts at hand.

Why'd you source the 2nd website? Also, homosexual acts are a sin in Al-Islam, but I don't think it's death. I think it falls under the punishment of illegal sexual intercourse: http://legacy.quran.com/24/2

Well that's why we are having this conversation. My unit while deployed had to intervene to protect those that your holy book called unclean.

Protect them from what? And aren't called unclean. Their actions are. And what 'unit while deployed' are you talking about?

I was deployed to Iraq with the United States Army. So I may have a biased view. Although I thought I made that clear in my first post.

No, of course not. Expecting someone to believe in something because someone else does something is simply illogical. You can't expect someone on a fucking forum to agree with ISIS or Taliban.
