I am personally concerned about the safety of all those affected given that the incident is very similar to what happened in Nice, and concerned about the stability given this occurred only hours after the fatal shooting of the Russian ambassador in Ankara. As of now it is too early to speculate on who did it and why, and I am awaiting more information from reliable sources.

One person has died and several have been injured as a lorry ploughed into a Christmas market in central Berlin, police say.

Police now say they suspect it was a deliberate attack.

The timing is alarming, because of the fallout from the Syrian Civil War as well as the ongoing ethnic tensions as a result of the mass emigration from the conflict zones.

This is true. But immediate thought goes to the Nice attack, and I won't be surprised if the perpetraitor is who I think it is.

A quick fact check, Muslims commit less terror attacks than right wingers (not per capita) you just don't hear about it because we associate terrorism with certain people.
