You know as well as I do that they could come up with something to charge him if they really wanted to. Hell they had 8 Benghazi hearings that found nothing, I'm sure they could find something.

It was doubtful they wouldn't have. As well, an invasion of Cuba wouldn't have been off the table. When you deal with politics like this, backing down and being whipped is not the way to go.
