He knows computer forensics. He has the best computer forensics people. You know, even his 10-year old son uses a computer, and what he can do, it's unbelievable. Now hacking, it's a problem. Nobody knows how big the problem is, we don't know, because the truth is, under President Obama we've lost control of things that we used to have control over. However, Trump knows things, important things, things you wouldn't believe, and he'll tell us next week. It would be unbelievably dumb to let the terrorists know. We have so many things that we have to do better, and certainly hacking is one of them.

He probably thinks hackers type rapidly on their keyboards and bust into things in seconds too.

Newsflash -- it could take me hours to a matter of days to write up a script from scratch. I shorten it by having pre-built templates of certain processes that I can use, and an IDE+Compiler to quickly check things out and test.

admittedly, i lmao'd at that gif.

but it seems like TV shows recently have been doing a better job at portraying hacking, such as Mr Robot. I guess our tech-savvy generation is better at spotting technobullshit.

They have. I love Mr Robot, but I've also a crush on Malek, and have had one since The Pacific. Then you get shows like Scorpion. Given, I like watching it but I grit my teeth. A lot, I won't say all, but a very large chunk of the younger generation are quite adept with computers and even basic scripting. Games that run off of the source engine, for example, use lua and many have wrote in commands or created scripts for various tasks to run off their game. Automatic bhopping comes to mind. If you use IRC, you probably have seen a bot and many bots run off of python, and you communicate with them in kind. Especially gamers should know, or be familiar with MS-DOS and how to get their DNS and IP configuration for things such as portfowarding when hosting servers.

The latter is what I'd do as speaker

I'm well aware it would never happen because no one has the guts

The latter would also see the end of your political career and the end of your life as a free man.

And what would I be charged with might I ask? Saving the country and democracy? Oh what a crime

Tampering with an election is a felony, I believe.

Not in Russia, over there it's just a formality.

No, fraud. A very extreme case of it that would get your ass crucified.

I would have stopped him from becoming president though and the electoral votes would be posssiby be invalid: I think congress would be far busier trying resolve the constitutional crisis and I think many Americans would thank me

Actually I do and that's why I would do it. The electoral college didn't do its job so I'd cause a constitutional crisis

That has the potential to destroy the very country you claim you love.

When, in Truth, youre just being spiteful and would rather see it destroyed.

No, no you don't. You're arguing for government officials to commit fraud and change the results of an election because someone you don't like won. For someone who likes to rant about the integrity of our elections being gone you sure seem eager to make it worse.

Even the extreme constantly-toeing-the-Dem-party-line anti-Trump connoisseurs would be averse to fraud like that, unless they're total and shameless hypocrites.
