He'll have a few good years ahead of him, then. Trump knows how to reward those loyal to him.

Could be he's rather pleased with himself for it.

He may find that feeling fleeting in the months to come.

Gonna be a fun four years with His Excellency Trump doing Trump things and us with only a limited scope for making fun of him.

Incidentally, did you know that the US President is formally styled as "Your Excellency", in addition to "Mr. President"? I really hope that Trump tries to get people to call him that.

Wat...and it's the republicans who suggested this?

Why wouldn't they? Both parties would love to have a propaganda mouthpiece through which to spread their bullshit. This, combined with the new Portman-Murphy bill is pretty worrying.

So, what are the chances that Trump does something before 2020 that even the GOP can't stomach?

Meanwhile millions of Americans trust in the FBI as a politically non-partisan entity has sunk to a new low.

we are so utterly fucked.

And we shall fall apart thanks to ourselves.

You know, it can take years to build up a good reputation, and only one bad act to fucking ruin it.

Holy fucking delicate flower...

It makes sense that a thin-skinned snowflake of a candidate like Trump would have supporters like that.

I've often said, the most offensive people are the most easily offended.

I don't know what's worse, the fact that all this shit is happening, or that some Trump supporters don't seem to care that the FBI may have influenced the election and that Russia is interfering with our elections on top of that.

The second part is worse, I think.

People seem perfectly willing to mutton-head this country into some deep shit. That's just unconscionable.

They don't care, they will protect their vision of America at all costs. They will cheer the foreign interventionists and drive out the dirty liberals to hide in the country and fight back again and again. It is an utter fucking pile of shit.

I'm sort of concerned that the FBI and Russia seem to be on the same side.

I means, that could be purely coincidental of course, but it's disturbing nonetheless.

They don't care so long as it hurt Clinton and got Trump elected.

I'd say 50/50. I have no doubt that he's going to do an awful lot of stupid and harmful crap, but I'm unsure as to how low the GOP's standards are, so long as the president is one of them.

I'm almost certain that he'll try if he finds out. It's been firmly established that the man is almost pathologically obsessed with status and recognition.

They apparently have no idea what actual American values are. I think they include truth and justice. They seem to think it's lying, cheating and scamming.
