Think on the bright side, if they do end up doing away with programs they don't realize are popular and somewhat necessary (unlikely) they've set themselves up for electoral failure for, like, the rest of time.

Now they really don't have a scapegoat for when things go to shit, too.

Well, that's true, I'm just trying to look for some positives about that scenario. They'd probably get re-implemented Post-Trump if that happened.

The Donald mocks accusations of Russian meddling as a conspiracy theory.

Which is odd, because thus far he's been buying into any conspiracy theory that someone Tweeted to him.

Trump is going to need a Beria in order to purge the CIA and other institutions that dare imply that the magnanimous Kremlin, known for its benevolence, would execute such nefarious schemes.

supposedly he is going to be bringing in his own people. maybe he'll outsource intelligence to Russia. we'd save a ton of money!

All we really need to know is that Trump won, it was a yuge landslide, he had the biggest rallies, it was great. Believe me.

And the rallies are only going to get bigger, if history actually does provide a blueprint for what is about to happen.

So... is there anything about Trump and the GOP so far that is not infuriatingly and blatantly horrible? Putin lackeys, crooks, bigots, corporate shills, short-sighted idiots...

More than half of Americans knew he was a serial self-contradictor, so there's no surprises here. The only question will be just how long folks will continue to delude themselves that they voted for someone who gives one single shit about them or their concerns.

Elected a billionaire who's appointing billionaires to "fix" a system broken by billionaires.

Hatch Act charges when?

Also I can't seem to look at stuff re: Trump insisting how smart he is without thinking of this.
