I'm not so sure if the wall will be built. I mean the W Bush fence still isn't finished. I think a small portion maybe a mile or two will be built an Trump will make a big scene about it but I think the rest of it will never see the light of day

Well an actual wall the entire border will not be built of course. Something even Trump acknowledged. But existing walls and fences will be improved and expanded.

Build the wall is a Twitter meme, not an actual policy. The actual policy will be different than what some picture "build the wall" to mean, sure.

Not really. Like much of Trump he is someone you project on. What you see Trump as is what you project. And what you project will not become reality.

The wall thing is not the big deal either side makes it out to be. We already have walls, and we can build more. It does not change that much, will stop some illegal immigration (as the current ones do) but that is about it. It is not in fact a major policy change.

Why not? Because what he wants is completely different than what Bernie wants? Than many Democrats want? Problem is you are focusing on personality not policy. And the "Republicans" did it too is not a good argument. Sure they won, but would have done better with someone else. The Republicans did not win because of Trump. But in spite of him.

Sure, that does apply, IF there is a major economic crash. Right now all ecnomic signs are positive but sure it could change.
Then any Democrat could win. But it still makes no sense to go for him over other options they have.
