Friendly reminder that the economy under Obama was doing great by neoconservative standards, particularly as far as the markets were concerned. Also, how exactly does he figure Christmas shopping is an accomplishment of his? Is he really buying into his own "I won the War on Christmas" idiocy? That Trump believes his own lies is just sad.

he's hoping the rest of us will believe them

after all he claimed that the economy was utterly in the dumper and Clinton/sanders did nothing to dispute it.

Pres-elect told me not to reveal the specifics just yet, but just know, the care of the God-Emperor will be so much better than anything Obama could provide.

Thought not.

This is pretty much the summary of the Trump campaign. No-one knows what he's going to do, but everyone assumes it will be the greatest thing ever because he said so and he can do no wrong.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

North Korea says Trump isn't screwy at all, a wise choice for president

Well, that's comforting. From back in June, no less.

In democracy, it's the job of the candidate to explain their positions to voters. People in coal country heard Trump talk about bringing American jobs back, rejecting trade agreements, investing in infrastructure, and protecting fossil fuels. All they heard Clinton talk about was identity politics and Trump's controversial comments. While most of them were probably disturbed by Trump's erratic behavior, they still went for him because he was the only one talking about their issues.

Do Democrats have a better platform for the working class? 100 percent yes. But we horrendously failed to get this message out, and thus we lost.

They did hear Clinton talk about investing in infrastructure if they listened to her. Maybe they didn't.
