I've always known I'm female, but when I was little it was simply because I thought nothing of it. Now I know my sex is female because of my phenotype. (Please pardon me, I got them mixed-up quite often in my biology classes.)

Genotype refers to an organism's genetic constitution - it's genes. Phenotype refers to the observable characteristics of an individual. You don't need to know anything about genes to know your sex - which should be obvious given that people were able to distinguish between the sexes long before the discovery of genes.

If you're going to say he's talking merely from emotions, you need to prove he's actually talking from emotions, rather than trying to tear your opponent down with, "Haha, I'm so happy I'm not an emotional right-winger, I'm an intellectual left-winger, look how awesome I am!". That tells nobody anything, except that you look at right-wingers as emotional nutjobs and left-wingers as calm intellectuals (which is a stereotype, and stereotypes only work to ingrain anti-intellectualism), so you're really not helping the argument and proving yourself as the calm, reasonable intellectual.

Except I'm not the one who brought the "fee-fee" meme, Aelex did, and I merely pointed out his own side of the spectrum uses it as justification a lot more than figures on the Left. It doesn't have anything to do with my own opinion on reason and emotion (in fact, I view the both of them as important), I condemn the Left for it's silly intellectualism and rationalism, just as I criticize the Right for its own faults.

From what it looks like here, he looks like he's talking from biology, that he identifies himself by his genetics. Which...there's nothing wrong with that. I identify as a girl because my genes tell me I'm a girl.

When did you gain the ability to magically converse with your genes? Also, it's always felt ironic that people who believe in an eternal soul make appeals to biological determinism.
