I am not denying that the corporations ideally not be involved in politics, but the "mainstream media is trash" rhetoric tires me a little.

My point is, mainstream media isn't really a reflection of what we think if our society hardly even trusts in those institutions. Furthermore, when we have sources such as Vox, Salon, HuffPo, BreitBart, InfoWars, and even Fox and MSNBC taking up large swathes of the industry, it really concerns me as someone who values journalistic integrity.

Basically. Clinton, here in the US, is a leftist, and its a bit silly to pretend that Democrats are "center right" or "right." A lot of leftists do this, and I guess I can see where that thought might stem from, but the Dems are all for expanding social services, raising the minimum wage, a larger social security net, more expansive LGBT rights and shit. I'd call that somewhat left of center, and left here in America.

Bernie Sanders was running off of the Democrat caucus. His platform was much less left than his actual views, and even himself, as a DemSoc is about centre-left, keeping him in the 'Moderates'. People are mixing up platform and personal views, and that's a problem.
