If someone is paying an establishment for an agreed access to their equipment at any hour, but then these hours are shortened because of any sort of ridiculous policy aimed at "alleviating ridicule because the poor dears feel intimidated over not knowing how to use the machines", then it is entirely reasonable to either expect a refund or a retraction of said idea.

Say, for the sake of the argument, I pay YMCA 50 dollars a month for membership, which includes access to their facilities while open, unrestricted. If somehow a policy restricts me from doing so, I am going to calculate every single cent per hour they're shafting me over per month and make them lower my membership since I am not getting full benefits from the YMCA.
