I mean, it's not like professors actually have to study for years and are tested on their knowledge multiple times before getting a diploma nor like math isn't the same thing at all as gender studies, being an actual science unlike them.

She's mentioned it before and she's posted in the trans thread. The fault lies in the wrongful assumption that all trans people declare themselves as such, or should do, in said sigs, and that therefore someone without it in there must be cis.

We can now proceed to the "whoops, sorry" bit for Vass' wrongful assumption. Very quick, very easy, stops this pantomime where the one on the other side of the thought-free misconception is supposed to somehow be at fault.

Cisgenedered people make up the vast majority of the population (as far as I know at least, I'd honestly be surprised if I were wrong), not to mention that they're not usually affected directly by the issue, therefore making them the outsider looking in so to speak. So, it really isn't that surprising that it's almost exclusively cisgendered who don't really understand.

Ditto. What's really confusing to me is that she doesn't support same-sex marriage, even though she was technically in several, gender-wise (even if she wasn't out then). That must require a lot of mental gymnastics.
