"They said this but we think they're wrong" isn't revisionist. Revisionist would be pretending they never existed.
Especially when it is already known that many of the translations where in error in some way shape or form. The idea of the virgin birth for instance could be said to be a translation error since elsewhere the word is used to mean young woman, not virgin.
