Gender and sex aren't the same thing.
Gender: Whether you feel Male or Female or inbetween.
Sex: Whether you have dude or lady parts
Gender is a construct of your mind, while sex is a construct of genetics. You can't change chromosomes, but you can change parts to bring mind in line with body. Saying otherwise is lunacy.

Chromosomes don't always determine birth sex, not that it matters. SRS is a thing, and sex does not determine gender

Gender is your imagination. It doesn't make it reality. What gender you feel you are is irrelevant.
Mutilating your body doesn't help, either: http://www.sexchangeregret.com/research

Oh, we're using the American College of Paediatricians again?
You really need to check the quality of your sources better.

Fair enough. My other source still stands, though.
Persons with transsexualism, after sex reassignment, have considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behaviour, and psychiatric morbidity than the general population. Our findings suggest that sex reassignment, although alleviating gender dysphoria, may not suffice as treatment for transsexualism, and should inspire improved psychiatric and somatic care after sex reassignment for this patient group.

Of course you can think that!
Of course, you'd be thinking wrong, like in the factual sense, but hey, wanna ignore unbiased evidence to try and prove your own point, I ain't gonna stop you

Homophobia also means, in Latin, "fear of the same". But nobody uses it like that unless they're simply trying to get around an argument, do they?

I already said I don't want to get into this argument. I was trying to dissuade the other guy from coming here and stirring shit up, because it's pointless.
