Would quip really be the right word here? A quip is defined as a witty remark, which breaks essentially to a comment showing or characterised by quick and inventive humour. I’m not seeing it tbh. “There are only two genders” is a joke so overdone it became part of some mainstream religions.

Aye I thought that's perhaps what they were, I just assumed that Val Halla didn't live in the UK.

I just noticed that Gender Identity Clinics offer speech and language therapy. That is something that I never would have thought of, but I suppose it makes sense considering that the human voice has such a massive correlation with identity, both in terms of self perception and being perceived by others.

Don't worry too much about it. I play a bit fast and loose with language all the time, but there is a world of difference between the way that I do it and the way that certain concepts are maliciously confounded by others.

I'm not, because the status quo and current social and economic hierarchies do not benefit me as a genderqueer bisexual person, they harm me; therefore I seek abolish them. I believe being a libertarian socialist is good for me as a queer person.

Some however, do justify these hierarchies and even support them, and you end up with right wing LGBTQ people.

Ok let me expand I am writing this because of science. More specifically, anatomy and biology even agree: you're a boy, or you are a girl. You have a penis, or you have a vagina.

What I am getting at here is that a person cannot identify as something that does not exist. I attempted to wrap my head around the idea that there are people out there half a bubble off plumb enough to think that they are something other than male or female.


The things that I stumbled upon was stupid I read these so-called genders and their definitions, and I think my IQ dropped. These are not "genders" because "genders" are physical.

These are conceptions of life, personalities, disorders, and afflictions. Oh yes, I'm aware that those are hurtful words, and this is a "mean" post. I'm sure I will be told more than once that I am 'wrong' and that gender is 'fluid' but it will have no effect on me, because I know I am correct.

Gender is not a matter of opinion; it's a scientific fact. Penis or vagina, vagina or penis? Pink or blue, not green, not purple.

You repeatedly refer to science as being the source of your "facts", but I don't seem to see any sources anywhere in your post? Did you forget to put them in? Or are you simply referring to "science" to give your opinion more credit than is due? Then what is the point in debating or discussing anything here then? A female looking person who has born both with a vagina and a penis will have the penis removed as decided by the doctor and be classed as a female gender wise. Yet again we see that the medical description of intersex traits are classed as disorders of sex development. So yes intersex is a thing but generally we see that the gender that the perosn closely resembles is the one that they are given at birth. Being intersex isn't a gender! But a medical disorder.

That classification by the World Health Organisation will likely be up for review soon. I'm economic left, but on social and cultural issues I'm a little to the right of NSG's mean point, probably. Depends what you're comparing to.
