I think the problem here is that you see rape as an exclusively sexual phenomenon. It's not. A lot other factors and emotions other than sexual desire usually come into play when it comes to rape, specially when transphobia or another form of prejudice is involved.

So... that's awful. Even as a "joke", it's awful. Specially when the "trans panic" defense is, in fact, still allowed in most of the United States, and trans women still face disproportionate levels of violence.

While violence is never acceptable, a trans person should tell a potential romantic partner of their status, to avoid confusion and emotional hurting.

Anyone who would have premarital sex, I don't think has much grounds for being upset for finding out their partner isn't who they thought they were in terms of sexual origin; it's not like the sanctity of marriage or courting, so being upset over that seems a little silly to me.

Violence isn't cool tho lying to someone about your sex isn't neither. Telling people about who you are is the moral thing to do and would avoid you such problem, anyway.

I don't see how, given that I explicitly stated that casual sexual encounters undermine a valid reason one would really object to banging a trans person.

I'm saying that a trans person should disclose they are trans if they are entering an actual relationship with someone.

Though of course not immediately. Revealing one is trans can be very dangerous for a trans person. To reveal it shows a great deal of trust in the person they are having a relationship with.

Only if you'd want to argue that spanking your kids means you're into BDSM for minors. Rape isn't about sex, its about power. That's a well-known fact.

It would be emotionally painful to cultivate a relationship with someone, then tell them that they have to choose between you and their deeply held convictions.

Tis true, tho. Not everyone is bisexual and by not telling them about your condition, you're withholding a crucial piece of information from them.

Let's say someone is a Muslim or Catholic, and they are looking for a wife; it would be disingenuous for a trans person to date them knowing that they aren't what the person is looking for. Well first, a Catholic or Muslim might not have an issue with a person being trans or dating a trans individual. Second that does not change the fact that revealing one is trans can place the trans individual in a great deal of danger. Third why are you assuming a trans individual would continue to date a person after learning their partner does not want to date a trans individual.

In a way, that's a good thing. If you can't understand it, its harder to rationalize it, and therefore, harder to convince yourself its alright to do.

Not necessarily. In cases like corrective rape, the physical pleasure that the rapist may derive from it is secondary to the intent to subjugate and humilliate the person they are targeting. Rape is in no small part about aggression and domination. The rapist doesn't have to be attracted to the person they are targeting in order to go ahead and attack them. Straight men rape other men without feeling any actual sexual attraction towards men.

Not as much as doing the immoral thing and not telling it. I doubt most would be angry about learning that someone is trans before they had sex with them, I'm quite sure most would, however, if they did learn about it after they had been tricked into having sex with them.
