Being fair, NSG is a pretty good source for fact finding, if you know which posters to pay attention to. The research some posters do is quite good.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.

There are pretty stark contrasts in quality which makes it much easier to pick through places you can trust and places you can't. Either well researched or its from Breibhart or something

A mix of RT UK (as well as for their shows), The Canary, TYT, Telegraph, Independent, Huffington Post, Mic, Al Jazeera, a little bit of BBC and The Guardian, or really anything I can get my hands on when I'm on the move. Sometimes I just use podcasts like Citizen Radio, Radio Dispatch, Abe Lincoln's Top Hat, and Round Table of Gentlemen if I'm behind, or just want silly news. In all cases, I have Snopes on another tab.
I don't use this account anymore. Need to TG me? Just hit up Nyasott or Cez-Zaeri.

Mostly the Washington post new york times CNN and nationstates(how I found out about Castro, Prince and David Bowies deaths.)along with any random articles that come up on google search.

I follow mostly online news sources such as defence web for news concerning the local arms industry and African military affairs, and All-Africa which requires a subscription but is good for just skimming headlines and staying up to date. I also follow Nehanda Radio for news on Zimbabwe which often goes unreported elsewhere.

When I lived in Joburg I purchased one copy of Beeld (Afrikaans) and one of The Star (English) per week, usually on Friday. The Star always had better classifieds, business news, and international coverage, but Beeld tends to follow all the stuff that happens in small towns and the platteland. And of course Beeld also covers Afrikaans celebrities while The Star rarely does.

Every few weeks I would also pick up The Zimbabwean, which anybody can buy anywhere because so many Zimbos lived among us.

Edit: almost forgot online forums. I do get some news off NSG, and nairaland.com, but I usually see it somewhere else first.

A combination of the Washington Post for the official news, and Youtubers for ramblings that may or may not be accurate but give me something to think about that somewhat assuages my paranoia at relying on a single source of information.

I think it's best to rely on multiple news sources, from all political sides. Whatever they agree on is more likely to be true and unbiased.

Formerly an independent but flawed democracy; now under a foreign flag and occupation forces

The most conscientious leftists are shooting themselves in the foot with their ethic of sacrificing their own best to people who might not be trustworthy. The worse of them, when they fall behind in the race, decide they want to shoot others in the foot to make the race fair. Nature stubbornly refuses to be egalitarian. Not everyone can run at the same pace, or think at the same pace, and equality necessarily implies hobbling progress with worse speed for all but the slowest.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I find Buzzfeed News to be very thoughtful and ...

I can't do it.

I usually get my news from a variety of sources, like BBC News, PBS Newshour, the occasional Economist article, and any more.
I try to diversify my sources in order to get a somewhat decent picture of what is going on, and I always try to dig deeper into a topic if I need to.

Although I must say that you simply can't beat CNN Student News with Carl Azuz!
