Because "If a dog is blind, then it cannot see," is an if/then statement, it is a hypothesis.

Never mind that it is not testable, and is simply the definition of blindness.

I never thought of that. Though it would be highly unlikely given the respective state of the UK v Japan at that time.

It would, however, explain a great many things.

I have thought about going to Asia to find a bride, but the potential risk far outweigh the potential reward.

really? i did not know that. i was basing my idea of my distant cousins. from my perspective they all seem to only care about being the world's bank and having the best chocolate. Cause they are always neutral, and have everyone's money. so nobody bothers them

That is true for some regions but tends to be untrue for their historians. It is more the uneducated people who are like that.

There's nothing wrong with a bible study club. People voluntarily choose to be part of it so there is no issue. Sorry for not freaking out on your. Now teaching the bible as a part of your science class and I'll do apeshit on you.

When I was in 4th grade (A while back) it was the year 9/11 happened. Naturally as children its all we talked about. My teacher, Mrs Mcphee (I still remember her name) told us all to stop talking about the "bad things that happened on the far side of the world. It's never going to affect you, so stop."/sugarcoat much....

A couple of months later, Australia deployed troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and its still going on today...... Whenever I think of Iraq, i think of what she said and the extent to which primary school tried to sugarcoat children's lives.

I know it's a little off topic but, I have an actual vaguely Intelligent thing a teacher told me.
It was my 6th grade History teacher, and it was 9/12/01. He said "The fallout from this (The 9/11 Attack) will still be felt 10, 20 years from now, most likely even longer. In fact, most of you will be fighting in whatever war this creates."
You can't deny how right he was. (I was in the army and was about to be sent to Afghanistan)

People's History was our primary textbook in... one of the grades. Tenth, I think. It's not a great book, but then since when are textbooks ever well-written? Lies is very good, though.
