It's not the electoral system's fault they're redundant. It's reality. All the major parties are committed to some flavour of feminism (conservative feminism, socialist feminism, liberal feminism) or another, and feminist lobbyists are insider pressure groups with, if anything, a disproportionate influence over policy. And in the rare event the government does something that's starkly contrary to their ideology they can rely on fawning interviews and protest coverage from the BBC to shriek for a u-turn.
The Women's Equality Party are spoiled brats who already have their share of the cake (and probably a little spare change) but stomp their feet wanting the entirety of the government program to be devoted to them.
When I'm in charge they'll be among the first to the gulag.
