I was approximately 8-10 months old at the time... too young to clearly remember. My earliest memories are some faint memories of reading (I learned how to read before I learned how to speak.), but my clearest memory is having my tonsils taken out when I was two years old. If I can recall, shortly afterwards I went into a playroom at the hospital meant for the small children. The room was a salmonish color, with vertical stripes on the walls. In the corner of the room was a television playing Blues Clues. I copiously vomited, and then I fell to sleep.

My history class would never have touched on 9/11. I think I remember textbooks having a paragraph or two total on the event - only because the textbooks were published in 2004.
