They can't, they won't, and anybody who thinks it's a large possibility is not familiar with the ruling in Texas v. White.
The only way they could conceivably do it is via Constitutional Amendment, and that's sure as hell not happening.
Funny, so many leftists screamed about how ignorant it was for Texans to want to secede after President Obama was democratically elected, and the same people are trying to do that same thing.

Nope, Texas v White established that you absolutely cannot unilaterally secede.
Technically if a state was granted permission or fought a successful revolt it could leave the Union but that's probably not going to happen.
