On a sidenote, isn't there a bit of a controversy in the US that the "One nation under God" credo is actually unconstitutional because it arguably violates the First Amendment?

Viva Napoleon!

Wait, wrong year.

Well, let's hope the man that some have called "French Hillary" doesn't live up to that moniker. Like, at all. I would've preferred the Eurosceptic, to be Frank.

not even mentonging losing our sovereignity, our laws are no longer ours, they are issued by brussel

Ayy lmao. Don't get me wrong I don't like the EU because of the whole "EU Superstate" thing, but saying that we haven't gained anything thanks to the EU is ignorant to say the least. We recieved a lot (and I mean A LOT) of money from the EU and flodded the Western market with cheap labor only because we suck at electing good people. If you want a decent eurosceptic government here in Poland with an actual policy and idea how to run a country then firstly we need to kick out PiS, Kaczyński and Co. Then stop demanding a welfare state and elect fiscal conservatives (JKM's Liberty for example). This way we can get jobs. Don't expect people to stay in a country without a job. That's why we have the "screwed birthrate" thing.

Well, the truth is that the US added this "God" silliness only to distinguish the country from the Soviets during the Cold War. The reality is that most Americans could care less about religion and only pay lip service to it because of family background or other hold overs in their lives. It is an anachronism more than anything else. It doesn't mean anything any more than being in the "land of the free" does.

There is almost nothing good about America as it currently stands, the country just gets poorer and poorer whilst the top 1% are able to hoard ever increasing amounts of money, and both political parties including Trump are in on it.

No, it doesn't, nor do any other facile comparisons of some politicians to others, Macron/Clinton included.
