Ok, so this is something I just thought up a new ideology for people sick of the left and right always bickering at each other: sillyism.

What is Sillyism: Sillyism is just going with the flow, putting the happiness of everyone before all else. It means that political parties would be real parties, elections would no longer be about who is the least worst candidate but who can make you the most happy.

I would mean no bitterness but sweetness. It would let anyone do or be anything, and It would add democracy to the workplace via letting anyone directly voting for or against a policy that would affect the economy or business.

Debates could be solved via shooting each other with water guns.


That is what sillyism is about.

So, this new view could change the world, I would like to hear peoples thoughts on it.

Voting on issues turns it into a popularity contest not who is right. Market analysis should show what should be made and in what amount by a company not by the random janitor with no insight on the markets of southeast Asia. Decisions today require expertise and allowing ignorant people to make decisions is why children die to measles in the United States when vaccines exist. It is why "natural" and "artificial" are seen as concrete terms instead of arbitrary distinctions.

The rest of this ideology is nothing more than ethical hedonism rephrased and applied specifically to the political sphere. It is nothing new or imaginative. It is simply a default to the status quo by having the majority make decisions without needed clear reasons for them.

It seems to be an attempt at resolving nothing and letting people continue to suffer needlessly.
