He also ran is campaign in a way we said would never work. It did. He was right and we were wrong. He is not stupid, and remember his TV act is just an act. His TV character he plays is different than him. Fact is he does this better than we do.

I don't know if he does this better than I do or not. I've never tried.
Point of fact, he is famous and used his fame to get elected. He's thin skinned and has a short temper and is going to be a complete disaster as president, which is why he suddenly starts tweeting at 3am about random shit he's upset about that morning. We're going to have to buck up and deal with it.

Will you two stop trying to get us into a global war? An idiot has been elected president. We will survive, provided people don't flip the fuck out and get all the mutual protection pacts and so forth nullified so that aggressive nations feel free to expand their territory and start a global conflict.
Trump is smarter than you or me when it comes to politics. That is why he is president and we will never be. Yes it is hard to admit, but true. If we were so smart, and he so stupid we would be in important positions and he would not be. Fact is he is better at this politics thing than we are.

No, I don't, I believe that we need a strong military, which we have. But we are light-years ahead of our nearest competitors in terms of military spending and many of them are our allies, so we do with some minor budget cuts in that department.
We also don't need to spend billions of dollars on an experimental fighter jet that doesn't work, on of the very few things I agree with Trump about.

You also have to want the job in the first place. Just because he was the better political strategist this go around does not make him generally more intelligent than anyone.

What I'm getting at here is that Trump has displayed himself as a complete garbage fire of a human being thus far, and will likely be just as awful as president.

He made his fame though.
Sure I have a problems with him but I do not have any reason to think he will be a disaster.
Plenty of presidents have had a short fuse and temper. Of course some like LBJ and Nixon actually did cause disaster, but not by talking or tweeting. Trump is much more bark than bite. Be worried about the short tempered with bite.

I think we've seen that he has plenty of bite.
