How can you say it is the land of the free when the number of people in your jails is higher then any other country in the world? More like home of the prisons. Or does jail count as freedom?

Coming from a Canadian, I love the states, but I'm a right-wing libertarian so your country is the closest thing I've got, I've always found Americans to be much friendlier then Canadians, more racist, but more friendly.

It seems more like something to be embarrassed about (quite related to the national waistline) to me.

That would be because our judicial system works. It is of course not without its flaws but we don't give you 26 years for killing your roommate in cold blood like they do in Italy. We kill you back...
