Yeah. I always thought it was a metaphor for stricter immigration.

Pretty much but I doubt that congress will let him do that.

Keep in mind, if Trump gets to replace Ginsburg the court will take a hard right instead of being slightly right with a swinging Kennedy.

Ginsburg isn't going to go anywhere for at least two years. She's going to hold on.

^This basically.

To expand, most of the things in that doc won't pass the Republican congress. They're too invested in illegal immigration to do anything except revert to the Bush years when everyone was under the table.

Not only that but the Supreme Court would be working overtime to basically strike down anything that would seem unconstitutional. People seem to think that just because the Congress under his control, everything will get undone. But doesn't mean SCOTUS will necessarily bend the same way.

Not in my mind. Dunham needs to be forcibly removed from the democrat party. She's a sick woman who openly admitted to molesting and sexually assaulting her sister. I hate her guts.

*Democratic Party

And the point in the campaign where I really started to worry was when they tried trotting out celebrities as Clinton surrogates. It was a cheap ploy to gain Bernie and Obama's youth support, which suggested she didn't actually have it.

I don't value celebrities' political opinions. Actors and musicians generally don't have sufficient background on the issues or of history to be trusted. Oddly, comedians are more likely to have a better grasp on current events if they do social commentary, but not all of them. I don't care what Amy Schumer has to say on healthcare reform, for instance.

Nah she can stay in the Democrat Party, with such luminaries as Lee L. Mercer Jr.

We just need to take back the senate. Look the republicans have shown what works, obstructionism works. We need to just filibuster the hell out of them for the next two years and blame it on Trump and the republicans. It's high time we stop acting like the better Party and play dirty.

I think Ryan might I don't know. McConnell definitely has support there are still several liberal republicans and anti-Trump republicans in the senate.

I find this hilarious, really. Republicans already turning on their own President-elect.

I get the feeling that within congressional Republicans, Trump doesn't have that much support and (as someone from the outside looking in), I can imagine that now they have someone in the executive, they'll push throw repeals of Obamacare and perhaps tougher vetting of migrants and refugees. But that's it. Anything else and it's basically fighting with SCOTUS, which the Republicans don't want to do because it's a waste of time.

They won't directly outlaw abortions at a federal level because that's a step too far even for them, so they'll pass a series of laws that gives state governments more rights to control abortion laws, thus enabling more conservative states to implement greater restrictions.

I don't think he's said.

IIRC, he did say it was going to be 55 feet high, then after Mexico rebuffed him on paying for it, he said it "just got 10 feet higher" about 10 times.
