I'm trying to think of an area in which America has been weakened (in comparison to, say, the 90s or early 2000s), and I'm having trouble thinking of one. Mind helping a poor boy out?

Well, our sense of direction as a nation, I suppose.
It'll be a long time before trumplandia experiences the glory of LGBT rights and before then they'll be screaming about how their ages-old way of life from when humans began to become aware of their mortality is coming to an end.

I'll admit that I too thought about it. Then I took a look at his more indepth tax shit. While I hate the estate tax with a passion from an economic perspective, it was just dreaming. I couldn't vote for that in good conscience no matter my isolationist tendencies.
