Privatized or nationalised healthcare? Personally, I prefer nationalised.

This may be a Cracked article, but it clearly illustrates how Trump was able to win. The rural and rust belt vote is the new kingmaker.

TEM confirmed that this article nailed it. I also have no doubt that the failure of the Dems is a result of not getting the kingmaker, and kowtowing to the establishment as a means to play it safe. So, is this the end of establishment politics, my good friends?

I suspect so. From what I am seeing from our friends on the other side, this is their honest belief. Eisen Ara and I are from similar background of the author of the Cracked article. I'm sure he can confirm as well the truth behind his words.

I suspect that our friends on the left will not learn their lesson. Infact, I'm willing to bet that many of them will ascribe this as a one off to racism. The door will be left open again in the future for another upset like this. It isn't race they are pissed about, they are tired of seeing their communities, culture and land villianized. Then told they should be grateful for the latest trade deal that got passed. Its no wonder they lost their shit.

Edit: as I mentioned to CM in the previous thread, the left could finish us off once and for all if they got their shit together. That doesn't seem to be the case however.

$10 GOP splits tho because Trump will be unable to fulfill many of his promises, and may back out entirely as well

I may be part of that urban class but as of late and especially now I feel like it has indeed fallen deep into the rabbit hole.

Anyways, here's to 4 years of potential surprises or disappointment.

Here's to hoping Trump has the strength to solidify his powerbase and form a conservative dictatorship.
It's the best possibility I can see as realistic.

Personally, I don't think Donald Trump is a dragon himself.

The more immediate focus is on the republican party, which now have a person they got some political sway over and 3 branches in their favour, and Trump who needs them if anything for the next election.

Chances of a Trump dictatorship are about as realistic as China accepting Japanese Suzerainty.

I've always appreciated how Cracked can see through their own bias enough to appreciate that people who oppose them have actual reasons for doing so rather than being that way out of spite.

Indeed. The current state of the GOP is not much better than the Dems, and some are the very establishment that alienated Trump's voting base. Some probably won't see eye to eye and have their own backing through various lobbies.

Cockblocked by Congress and Senate may be more frequent than ever.

Compared to my preference of an American Franco, though, it's downright likely.

Same and that is why I choose goatee.. Also go ahead and shoot me, already got shot within a years time frame, another one will only build character. :p

Please, electric razors aren't as close as shave Gillette TurboCashSuckerOver9000Blades.

If I did I would go more for the one like a goatee sort, just to keep some aesthetics with my glasses, because full viking beard, while that would be awesome, would take too long and take time to keep clean.

There has only ever been once I've really regretted not having a beard. Fucking Wisconsin winters. I made some IRL mistakes being in that area during that time frame. I can see why its so popular.

I can the necessity in the north, but in the south...err more hair isn't always better. Although hair covering the back of your neck is good, but too much facial hair might be a pain in the butt.

I'm in IL, not WI thankfully. God help me if I had to live in that state properly. Little House on the Prairie was not lying with its stories. We have wonderfully humid summers, I can only imagine how bad it must be for you boys in the South most of the year. Crew cut best cut.
