I mean, the line will probably be crazy long this afternoon so, in comparison, they weren't that long.
You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

At least I now understand why you get a "reward" in the shape of a discount sticker..

But seriously. Surely the USA, bastion of democracy etc, can do better ? Even in *Iran* voting is easier...

I was right, the news is on at work and the story just played.

Friday early voting in Clark County, Trump contends that they let people into the line after the cut off time and feels that the votes from those let in line afterward should be discarded.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Holy crap, she is going to tell that story to her daughter sooooo often. And then she'll tell that story...when she announces her candidacy for President of the United States...

Actually, that would be badass, I don't know what I'm complaining about.

How did you get a three-letter nation name in 2011!? Anyway, good luck.

2011 marked the start of the nation name re-release program. Basically, if it's been at least x years since it was last used, and the population never reached y, it can generally be claimed.

I've been playing since January 2008 - I'm primarily a gameplayer.

Back on topic…

*shrug* I dunno. Maybe. Polling places cost money to operate and since they're operated by the state and local governments, who are often cash-strapped, it usually leads to lines.
